GIM Certification Process

Guided Imagery and Music training provides those in the helping professions with the opportunity to use the power of music to assist their clients in gaining transformational personal insights. The method is a powerful tool for therapists, nurses, complementary health practitioners, pastoral counselors, teachers, and art and music therapists.

The training involves three levels of certification plus an introductory workshop.

RHYTHMS OF HEALING is an introduction to the Guided Imagery and Music process that provides an overview and experience of the power of GIM.

LEVEL I provides a basic understanding of the method, experience with the process and the ability to begin exploring the use of GIM in practice.

LEVEL II: The Art of Guiding, provides the practitioner with increased skills and abilities to use GIM in practice.

LEVEL III: Career Specializations deepens skill levels and provides specific training in various aspects of the model.

All levels of training are didactic, experiential and interactive. Presentations utilize multi sensory learning and direct experience in both dyads and groups.
