Here are resources to make adding music into your teaching as easy as possible!
Soundtracks for Learning incorporates my classroom experiences knowledge. This book offers over 100 tried-and-true activities and techniques. I added research supporting the concepts of using music in the classroom to help teachers validate their music use. This is my culminating work and the most comprehensive guidebook in the field today.
Rhythms of Learning was co-created with the late Don Campbell in 1992. What a joy to work with him and for us to blend our experiences together in this book. It has become a classic in the field and has over 75 easy-to-use and wonderfully creative activities.
The Memory Beat CD is a collaboration with Daniel Kobialka, an extraordinary violinist, previously from the San Francisco Symphony. It is an all-in-one CD that offers teachers a great tool for integrating music into teaching. With extensive liner notes (and Daniel’s amazing music), this is a wonderful classroom resource
My best to you in using music in your classroom!
